PhD ON MULTIPOLAR MAGNETIZATION

Today, 13 January 2020, a PhD thesis related to multipolar magnetization has been defended. This work, theoretical basis of some development of UWIPOM2, has been defended by Miriam Martinez Muñoz at the University of Alcalá. In this thesis theoretical multipolar magnetization concepts applicable to UWIPOM2 are presented.

UWIPOM2 PROJECT AWARDED

This project got a quality mention for its magnitude and innovation.

COORDINATION MEETING AT UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW

UWIPOM´s University of Warsaw and University of Alcala teams met at Warsaw University, (Poland)

COORDINATION MEETING AT IMDEA FACILITIES

UWIPOM´s IMDEA and UAH teams met at IMDEA´s facilities in Cantoblanco (Spain).

COORDINATION MEETING AT AHS FACILITIES

Today our project´s coordinator, Efrén Díez Jimenez has visited our AHS sensors team at AHS facilities in Manchester (UK).

NEW INCORPORATION IN UAH TEAM

Our UAH team welcome the arrival of Carlos Moron Alguacil,Industrial and mechanical engineer,  as part of our research staff.

UAH TEAM WORKING IN FEM SIMULATIONS

Our UAH team is developing a finite element model of a magnetic gear in the electromagnetic simulation environment Ansys. This magnetic gear transforms a high speed input rotation and  low torque into a low speed and high torque that is directly transmitted to the engine shaft.

KICKOFF MEETING

The FET-OPEN project "UWIPOM2" will seek to develop micro-robotic mechanisms for minimally invasive micro-surgery techniques and in-vivo health treatments. The project, coordinated by Universidad de Alcalá, counts with, Advanced Hall Sensors Ltd, Politechnika Warszawska, IMDEA Nanociencia and Boston Scientific as partners.
